, sandbox, bubble station, etc. The list goes on there was so much to do! We didn't even go to the bottom level where they had a whole HEB market set up because Dora was there reading and so it was packed down there, good thing she doesn't really know who Dora the Explorer is! We will for sure have to go back sometime since there was so much for her to do. She was kicking and screaming as we left even though it had been 3 hours! She loved being around other kids and was making friends, too cute! After we left we walked a few blocks to see the Alamo, mostly just to say we have been there, haha! We took our "traditional stand in front of the Alamo" picture then walked around for a few minutes. We didn't make it inside or in any of the other mission because it was SOOO hot but it was a very pretty area and we probably could have gotten tons of good pictures but didn't feel like getting the kids out of the stroller. We got Avery a shaved ice($4 for a small, what a ripoff!) and headed back to the car to pay the outrageous parking fee, lol. We got lunch at Chick-fil-A and then headed to the movie theater. We knew it would be risky to take a VERY tired Avery AND a baby to the movies but we wanted to see Harry Potter. Surprising Livy slept the whole time with me covering her ears and Avery was only fussy the last half so Scott took her to the side. I feel bad he missed parts of it since I have read the book and knew the story he hasn't, hopefully it won't take forever to come out on DVD! We were going to take her swimming again after thatSunday, July 19, 2009
San Antonio Day 2
We got up early and had breakfast at the hotel then headed downtown to the Children's Museum. We had such a blast there! There was so much for Avery to do, she loved every minute of it! Her favorite exhibit by far was the pretend airplane, we couldn't get her to leave it and she was always running back to it! She also loved the trolley bus, the dentist office, bulldozer
, sandbox, bubble station, etc. The list goes on there was so much to do!
