San Antonio!!!

Day 1

We really needed a vacation and since we spent our 5th anniversary at home with a 4 day old baby we didn't get to do much. We thought about going to Houston or Corpus, but decided just to go to San Antonio since it was close and there is still a lot there we haven't done yet. It was a blast! I am so glad we went, it was so nice to have a break! We left Thursday afternoon after Scott got off work. We left the house around 3 and when we got in the car the tire pressure gauge was going off, ugh! We had a flat tire, the same one we just fixed not that long ago. So we headed off to Walmart to get it checked out and spent an hour there to be told there was no hole and it was just flat. We were a bit leery but left anyways. Luckily it didn't give us anymore problems.

We then drive up to the hotel only to be told they had no reservations, what! Turns out I booked a different one than I thought so we headed out to that one. We didn't check in til almost 7, it took us almost 4 hours for what should have been an hour and a half, two hours tops drive, haha. After we checked in we spent the evening swimming and enjoying lots of free popcorn and soda from the hotel! Scott went and got us Chipotle after(my favorite!!). We didn't get Avery to bed til around 10:30, she was exhausted!
